Facilities for children
Secondary School education is to be found locally at The King’s School, Ottery St Mary and Honiton Community College. Those children wishing to study for post-16 qualifications can do so at these schools or Exeter College.
Feniton Church of England Primary School has approximately 220 children enrolled. The school catchment area covers Feniton, Talaton, Buckerell and Gittisham. It receives consistently good Ofsted reports. There is an after-school care club called Cool Kidz.
Music with Mummy is a fun stimulating approach to music for children aged 6 months to 3 years based in Feniton.
The Feniton Toddler Group meets on Monday mornings from 10am to 11.30am and on Wednesday afternoon from 1.15pm to 3.15pm. It offers play experiences for children from birth to school age and opportunities for carers to socialise.

Scallywags is Feniton’s pre-school that provides early education and play experiences for children from the term in which they reach 3 to school age.
Beavers (ages 6 to 7 ½ 5.30 – 6.30pm) and Cubs (ages 7 ½ to 10, 6.30 to 8pm) meet in the Youth Centre on Thursday evening and are affiliated to the East Devon District Scouts.
Brownies meet in the Youth Centre on Friday evenings (5 – 6.30pm).
Youth Club usually meets on Wednesdays (6.30pm – 8pm) and Fridays (7.30 – 9pm) at the Youth Centre. Children over the age of 6 are welcome (any under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).
In addition there are Sports Clubs in Feniton that welcome the participation of children and young people.
